Purpose:
To provide the opportunity for students to explore the human resource management profession through speakers and activities.

Membership:
Anyone interested in the HRM field.

Meetings/Activities:
Monthly meeting with a speaker relevant to the HRM field, socials, and a Shadow Planning program in which each interested member spends a day at work paired with an area Human Resource Manager. Emphasis is placed on job hunting and selection techniques. SHRM is affiliated with the American Society for Personnel Administration.

Club Achievements / Awards:
Won the National Merit award for the last three years: 1993-94, 1994-95 and 1995-96.
