The Institute for Organizational Effectiveness provides expertise in managing and improving organizational performance to business firms (manufacturing and service), governmental agencies, and not-for-profit organizations.  The services provided include organizational assessment, training, career development, change management, and organization development.

The IOE staff can assist your organization in:

  • assessing causes of performance deficiencies,
  • analyzing opportunities for improvement,
  • designing human resource policies and practices,
  • planning and managing change processes,
  • charting strategic change, and
  • evaluating the effectiveness of change initiatives.

Educational Programs:

  • The Department of Management is a leading center for the study and application of organization development concepts and practices. The department provides both academic and executive education programs.
  • The Master of Organization Development Program pioneered the concept of empirically-based change.  The masters program is taught in both traditional and weekend formats.  The department also designs customized executive education programs in human resource management, organization development, production management, and purchasing management.
