On September 21, 2007 over sixty participants enjoyed a Business Roundtable at the Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio.  This event sponsored by the SCMI at BGSU focused on Indirect Spend.  Erica Hill from Mead Westvaco was the keynote speaker and moderated sessions with topics covering key areas for indirect spend in organizations.   Topics covered included Overcoming Internal Resistance to Potential New Supplier Relationships; Making Sure Supplier Contracts have Measurable Objectives, Defining Supplier Performance, and Seeing the Trends in the Supplier Landscape along with New Sourcing Options.  Presenters included, Stan Apgar from Emerson Climate Technologies,  Pam Heminger from Honda of America Manufacturing, Bobbi Sanders from Owens Corning, Helen  Githens from Marathon Petroleum Company Chad Cunnigan from Goodrich Corporation and Joe Strief from John Deere Company.
