Supply Chain Management

Ranked in the US News top 20 for 2008

BGSU’s Supply Chain Management program has been named the 16th best program in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report. The highly regarded magazine released its 2008 America’s Best Colleges rankings. It recognized the College of Business Administration’s program for its excellence.

U.S. News surveyed deans and senior faculty at undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools for Business. The rankings are based on this survey.

Dean Rodney Rogers says the College takes great pride in this program’s national recognition. “This top 20 ranking of one of our College’s programs is testimony to the focused and dedicated work of the faculty and staff of the Department of Management, under the leadership of Dr. Janet Hartley.”

This national recognition is another validation of the quality of business programs at BGSU. Not only is the program highly regarded by academic institutions, but well-known companies from across the country come to campus to recruit graduates of the supply chain program.

"We are extremely excited about being ranked 16th and proud of the dedicated efforts of our faculty, staff, and students,"  Dr. Hartley states.  "By partnering with employers, alumni, and professional organizations, such as NAPM-Toledo and APICS Toledo, our faculty and staff help students gain supply chain knowledge, critical business skills, and the professionalism needed for career success."  Dr. Hartley says this is what makes our program highly ranked.
