The
Master of Accountancy program at Bowling Green State University
has been designed with a focus on the new information
technology oriented and increasingly global business
environment. It is part of the AACSB accredited
College of Business Administration and Accounting programs at Bowling Green State University. The following
information provides a brief outline of the merits of the
program and you can get more
detailed information thoughout this website. You may also click here to find more information about the program details.
The
program requires 30 semester hours of course work
beyond the baccalaureate level. Students that enter the program must already possess the equivalent accounting background as provided in an undergraduate accounting
specialization. This would be similar to that found at most colleges
of business accredited by the AACSB. Most students pursue a full-time complement of four
classes in the fall and spring semesters and two classes during the final summer semester. Although students occasionally elect to complete
the degree on a part-time basis over two years. Part-time students must take
their classes during the daytime because courses
typically are not offered in the evenings or on weekends.
The
program offers three tracks of specialization - Accounting and Auditing; Information Systems Auditing and Control (ISAC) and
U.S. Federal Income Taxation.
Irrespective
of the specialization chosen, all MAcc students must
complete certain general requirements.
Admission
into the program is competitive. Please click
