The primary responsibility of the faculty of the Department of Legal Studies as educators is to stimulate our students to become life long learners. As part of this process, we believe it is essential to develop our students’ abilities to engage in critical thinking, to analyze personal and business situations using legal and ethical paradigms, and to view the world from a multi-cultural and international perspective. The mission of the Department of Legal Studies is to educate students and professionals in the fields of law and health care administration in support of the academic mission and programs of the College and University.
