Information Technology Services – College of Business

Today’s business world is global and high tech, so it is vital for students and faculty to have access to state-of-the-art technology hardware and software to learn how businesses stay connected.

The College of Business Administration is unique at BGSU because we have our own Information Technology Services department to serve students, faculty, and staff with immediate assistance and quality expertise.

The College itself provides a wide array of technology equipment and labs.  Students and faculty have access to wireless capabilities within the Business Administration Building. Students who may not have a laptop can sign one out for use within the building.

Computer labs are located on the first and second floors which are used for open labs as well as classroom instruction and staffed by student lab assistants. In these labs students and faculty have access to an extensive list of software applications and Internet software which are widely used by businesses today.

In addition to laptops, students as well as faculty can request equipment, such as computer presentation units, digital and video cameras, and projectors.

Off of The David J. Joseph Company Business Hub on the second floor, students and faculty have collaborative work rooms equipped with technology as well.

Students can also record group communication projects in the Communications Lab located at room 109 in the Business Building.
