Career Opportunities

Many careers are available for those who choose a specialization in finance. As the economy changes more toward a service orientation, job opportunities continue to grow.

Entry level positions with nonfinancial businesses are found in the areas of cash management, credit management, accounts payable management, and internal auditing.

Within financial institutions, positions are found in the areas of bank management, credit analysis, and investment management.

Positions in investments include being a stockbroker or personal finance manager, or working in a trust department of a bank.

The risk management field offers positions in sales, pure risk management within a firm, underwriting, claims, and insurance company management.
