Michael D. Slates  has experience in a wide range of areas including general corporate law, finance and banking. Mr. Slates has worked with Leisure Direct, Inc. as V.P. of Finance and Administration, with Bank One Corporation, and held positions as Assistant General Counsel, Special Assets Manager and Vice President, Commercial Banking, as an Attorney with Holmstrom & Kennedy, a law firm with several offices throughout Northern Illinois and served as the Judicial Clerk for the Hon. Richard N. DeGunther, Federal Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.  Mr. Slates has an MBA and J.D., Cum Laude, from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, and a BA in Political Science from Millikin University, Decatur, Illinois.  Mr. Slates has also earned his CFA charter from the Association of Investment Management and Research.
