Born and raised in Bowling Green, Ohio, I have been employed at  BGSU since 1984.  I am a part-time student, a Liberal Studies major. I had the opportunity to join the Department of Finance in July of 2002.  My department consists of seven faculty members who I support in their teaching and research activities. In addition, I provide assistance for the Certificate Program in Financial Planning and for the student organization, Financial Management Society. 

I am active in the community and served on the Human Relations Commission for the City of Bowling Green for ten years. I am currently a member of the Latino Networking Alliance.  I organize the annual Cinco de Mayo Festival for the city of Bowling Green.  Most recently, I was awarded the annual American Association of University Women scholarship.  I enjoy spending time with my three children, as well as traveling and gardening.
