The Department of Finance offers undergraduate studies leading to a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in finance.

Students can also study to earn the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) by taking courses in the Certified Financial Planner Concentration within the finance specialization. After completing courses in the financial planning concentration, students will meet the educational requirements of the CFP® Certified Financial Board of Standards and be eligible to sit for the CFP® certification examination.

The department has active, ongoing research.  Our exceptional faculty publish papers in top-tier refereed journals and present their valuable research at professional meetings throughout the United States and abroad. The faculty in our department have earned distinguished research awards for their work.
