II.
Group Presentation: (Individuals’ final
points will be determined by group evaluations. The instructor will determine
the final score if necessary.) Students will
self-select into groups. Each group
will research a current management issue to be debated with another student
group. Presentation should directly
apply material from the course and current business practices. Prior to beginning the presentation,
students should submit a cover sheet (with name and date of presentation), an
outline of the presentation, list of sources, and a printout of visual aids and
handouts to the instructor. Students
should pay attention to verbal & non-verbal communication. Business casual dress is expected. All group
members must actively participate.
IV Class
preparation: This refers to your attendance and the
quality of your participation in class activities (e.g., integration and
application of reading assignments, constructiveness of contribution, active
participation in small group work, completion of exercises and attendance) and
to the demonstration of behaviors likely to enhance our class as a learning
community (e.g., the core values of BGSU – respect for one another,
cooperation, intellectual and spiritual growth, creative imaginings, and pride
in a job well done). Inappropriate
behavior, as defined by the professor, and frequent absences will be reflected
in a student’s grade. To receive full credit, you are expected to actively
participate in class and submit assignments on time.
