Students With Prerequisites

This schedule is typical for students who meet all of the prerequisites. At least one of the three electives must be at the 600 level. Electives may be taken in fields outside of economics. Modification of this schedule is possible by moving electives among the terms. The theory comprehensive exam will often be taken in January of the first year, followed by the policy exam in July. Students may elect to write a thesis by taking up to two of their electives as thesis credits.
