List of Scholarships
Each
Spring, the College of Business Administration recognizes
the scholastic achievements of undergraduate students
at the CBA Honors and Awards program. Scholarship
donors are also recognized for the positive investments
they have made in CBA students' futures. CBA students
were awarded university, college, and department
scholarships totaling nearly $218,000 in Spring
2006.
The Karl E. Vogt Award is given annually to the outstanding senior in Business Administration. The recipient is selected on the basis of superior scholarship and participation, leadership, and excellence in campus and community activities. The top three finalists were Amanda Szabo, Keeley Dayton and Erica Walsh. Amanda Szabo was selected as CBA’s outstanding graduating senior.
Amanda graduated magna cum laude in May 2006 with specializations in Management Information Systems, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management and Production and Operations Management in the BSBA program. She received a number of honors and awards including being selected as a "student you should know" by Purchasing magazine. Upon graduation, Amanda accepted an offer by General Electric Aviation to join their Operation Management Leadership Program.
