Ernst & Young’s Scott Beaverson presented check to Dr. Snead
Notable companies and their employees continue to value the educational excellence of departments within the College of Business Administration by supporting them with financial gifts. The most recent support came from Ernst & Young which presented a matching gift of nearly $46,000 to the BGSU accounting department. The company pledged to match the donations of Ernst & Young employees, so the total amount of support from the accounting firm is more than $92,000.
The latest corporate gift will establish The Ernst & Young Accounting Excellence Fund. Accounting department chair, Dr. Ken Snead, states that the funds will be “used to support our efforts to continually improve the quality of our undergraduate and graduate accounting programs.”
The College deeply appreciates the generosity and continued support from Ernst & Young and its employees.
