Application Process
The AMIS scholarship process usually starts early in the Spring semester each year. In order to be eligible for
an AMIS Departmental Scholarship, the student applicant
must:
- be
admitted into the BSBA program with a specialization
in Accounting, Information Systems Auditing and Control,
Management Information Systems,
- have
successfully completed at least seventy (70) semester
hours of undergraduate work,
- not
be a candidate for graduation in May or August of
the current year,
- have
an overall GPA of at least 3.00, and
- have
a GPA in Accounting, Information Systems Auditing
and Control and Management Information Systems courses
of at least 3.00. This includes Acct 221, Acct
222 and MIS 200 for all applicants.
Scholarship recipients
are announced around mid-March.
