SACHIDANANDAM SAKTHIVEL is an Associate Professor in MIS. He holds the BSEE and MBA from the University of Madras, India. He has his Ph.D. from Syracuse University. Dr. Sakthivel has worked as Systems Engineer and as Senior Systems Engineer for 8 years. He has presented and published several papers at national conferences. He has published papers in the Journal of MIS, Journal of Information Technology, Journal of Systems Management Accounting, Simulation, Journal of Software Maintenance, Knowledge-Based Systems, Journal of Software and Information Technology and Management Accounting. His research interests include systems analysis and design and knowledge based support for system development, Software Maintenance, and Business Process Reengineering.  He received the College of Business Administration Scholarly Achievement Award for the year 1993. For 1994-95, Dr. Sakthivel was on a faculty improvement leave at the National University of Singapore.
