Biography: 

CAROLYN M. JONES joined the Department of Accounting & Management Information Systems in August,  2007 as Executive-in-Residence.  She teaches Financial Accounting as well as Managerial Accounting.  Prior to joining the faculty at Bowling Green, Ms. Jones was Director of Global Accounting Operations at Owens Corning, headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.  Before moving back to Ohio, she was Director of Finance and Controller of a $5 billion division of Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Georgia.  Prior to her executive experience in industry, she was with Ernst & Young, LLP for eighteen years in their Atlanta and Tampa offices: eight years as an auditor and the remainder as a consultant in the firm’s Government Contract Services.  Throughout her career she has been active as an instructor for CPA review courses and national seminars for such organizations as the National Contract Management Association and the Georgia Tech Education Extension.  Ms. Jones obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and completed her accounting studies at Georgia State University.  She received a Masters of Business Administration with highest honors from the University of Tampa, where she was named MBA Student of the Year.
