BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY (BGSU) invites applicants for tenure track positions in Accounting at the assistant, associate or full professor rank beginning in August 2008. We are looking for two individuals to support our undergraduate specializations in accounting and information systems auditing and control, as well as our Master of Accountancy and MBA programs. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and research interests in financial reporting, auditing, accounting information systems or tax. Ph.D. in business with a concentration in accounting preferred. At the assistant professor rank individuals who expect completion of all Ph.D. requirements by August 2008 are preferred but the committee will consider candidates who expect to complete all degree requirements during 2008-09. Applicants currently in a Ph.D. program are expected to have defended their dissertation proposals before being invited to campus for a campus interview. Potential or demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, research, and service is expected with an established record being required for appointment at the associate rank. BGSU offers a competitive salary package based upon experience and accomplishments.
